The outside of the vagina is called the vulva. This is made up of the following parts:

• Mons pubis or pubic mound - the area over the pelvic bone, where pubic hair grows
• Labia majora - outer ‘lips’ of the vagina
• Labia minora - inner ‘lips’ of the vagina
• Clitoris - small, pea-shaped sexual organ, which is the main source of sexual pleasure for women
• Vaginal opening - where the man's penis goes during sex

Vaginas come in all sizes, shapes and colors. Many men who watch pornography expect women to all look the same down there - waxed, with small labia - but everybody is different!
