Is the issue really about the hair or you were not included in the cut & style ? Did your daughter want this change ? She's his daughter too. Would you like being sued over something that will grow back ? Thank about future relationships that can be harmed and the affect it can have on your child. I had a similar problem with my sister in law. She cut my son's hair. I had planned 1st trip to barber with pictures. Good luck

I don't think you can. Even if you can get a lawyer to take it seriously, I doubt the court would. Hair will grow back.
The curl will come back.
Next time your daughter goes to your ex's house, ask her to stand up for herself and refuse or see if you can stop her from going

My fiance cut his daughters' hair because she had headlice, she kept scratching, she has Kinki (together w knots) African hair, it was impossible to comb, we then asked her if she wanted to have her hair cut n she agreed , she was happy too she even said now no one would do her hair because it hurt...her mother has since stopped contact claiming it was a lie that she had head lice and claimed the child is being called names at school, she is only 4...I think it ridiculous, she had their daughters' ears pearced without his permission...At least hair grows back but as for the piercing, her daughter wld never have a choice....

This just happened to me. I picked up my daughter from the x, she had long beautiful hair, I was so proud of her looks and my daughter. She is 8. The x doesn't know how to take care of girls and he talked her into having short hair and the poor child didn't know what to think so when I saw her I was devastated. I can't sleep, I cried all night then she starts crying then I feel so bad. It was a shock to me, no one told me anything. I am devastated. All my efforts of her hair for nothing. I would only be laughed at anyway if I would tell social workers or lawyers. They don't care. I guess I have to get used to this "strange" child in the house.
Why do anything in life anymore. It's not worth it.
