Marriage with age gaps are usually doomed to fail

I've tried both ways.  I left the man who was older and the man who was younger left me

I don't regret either relationship, but I wish I was not alone now. If you marry this girl, I wish you all the best - if there are any doubts or problems in the future, you must try to resolve them together.

Just don't listen to Frogletina,  relationships are hard enough without judging a book by when it is published.  Sounds like Frogeletina has trouble, with any age, so maybe it is Frogletina, that is the problem and not the age of the partners.  Age gaps are not important if there is love, it is just the old stereotypes of this generation that says a woman can't be older, but that was okay for men for generations and now it is time to loosen up people.  I have never dated anyone older than me, and it has been great, and we are all still friends.  Mature relationships can end without drama and hating and friendships are formed for life.
