That seems to be a real problem nowadays. Report that charity and before you ever donate to any of them, research them really well. There are a couple of sites on Google that will tell you the good and bad and also how much of what you donate actually gets used for the charity and how much the executives put in their pocket. You'd be surprised at what some so called reputable charities actually donate as to how much they pocket.

In my opinion, if a charity turns out to be a fake, then you should report it to the police.

Not only have you been scammed, but this could be happening to many other people around the world. Someone needs to be brave and stand up to this kind of fraud.

It's really sad when people abuse the generosity of others, or the suffering of people who genuinely need help, in order to make a quick buck.

If you ask me, it's one of the most unpleasant things someone could do.
