I'm assuming you don't have your period. Since this is the first thing you are having to confide in you mom with, I can understand the fear. However, Things are going to get a lot more personal, and the best thing you can do right now is talk to her. My mom knows all of my secrets. She even helps me with boys. I would just tell her what you want. It works! And it will bring you two closer together.

Omgg haha I remeber thiss. I got a rash my first rash ever! I was 10-11 and my "chest" was "growing" lol and my rash was all through out my body and my mom didn't really kno my chest was growing so she told me to take off my shirt so she could see how much the rash had spread. Sure enough I Didnt take my shirt off (she realized I was self consoius about my chest). And the nxt day we went 2 target and she passed by the bra section and said I think it's time of course I said no because it was embrassing and I remember wanting to cry because we were there with my older and younger brother and it was soooooo okward! But now I have padded and trainingg bras. And I'm 12 now. But I was soooo lucky to hve tht rashhh(: Lol
but what you should do- go up 2 your mom with a white shirt on and say mom "like this shirt"? She will look at it and most likley say yes. Say OHHHH GOSH! Ewwww you can see my boobies!!! Lol it might workk && you can get a braaaa(:

Well I'm 13 and trust me when your older you will be like wow why was I so scared over a bra. This is what I did. Next time you  go shopping and shes looking at thin sports ones say of I don't like them they are really thin and say stuff about them. My mom was like ohh well do you want one like this and I was like oh I don't know I guess and she was like ok.. And if you just want one to make your breasts look bigger don't get one. Only get one if you truly truly need one like if they are really pointy or saggy.goodluck :) haha

I'm 11 and a half years old and I don't wear padded bras. I know I need to wear them but my mom sure don't. I have a padded bra but I only wear it when I'm going out so my mom wont know I'm wearing one. If you don't own one tell your mom you think its time for you to start wearing padded bra and she will most likely buy you one = ]

I simply asked her when we were at the grocery(there were shops outside) and I was like"Can you buy me a bra?" and she said yes.

Then I picked a thin one ('cause if you're like me, your nips get pointy when you remove you shirt to put the bra on), then showed my mom (she wanted to know if my nips were showing), then she was like,"Try a thicker bra, one with some padding" and I was super happy 'cause the bra I chose after that was my first with padding and a buckle!

I got a bra when I 13! And I was pretty excited when my mom brought up the "idea" of bra. I didn't ask for it. This is how it all started. My mom, dad, and I when to went to Walmart and we were walking past the bra section. And then my mom pointed out a bra and told me to look for a small size of the bra. I went searching alone then I found the girls section then I called my mom and she came to me and we started picking out some bras. My dad came with mom and then he quickly went somewhere else. My mom didn't want me to wear a padded bra, but then I told her that "a padded bra seems more comfortable and I need comfort" so she understood and we bought 3 pairs of padded bras and it was pink, grey and purple.

If you are scared to ask for a training bra because I know I was. 1. Get one from a freind 2.just wear it around. Soon your mom will notice, and if she askes then say you got it from a friend. Then change the subject. Thats how I got my training bra. Now I am tring to figure out a way to get a padded bra! LOL  Hope this helped!!!!!

Well, I plan on asking her when we go to the store, like target or something, because when I ask her if I can have something, she says "yes". But I'm scared because, I don't know exactly what to say. But I don't know the next time that I get to go to the store. But my cousin gives me her small clothes, so I have a 30a and 1 32a and like 7 34s. I fit in 32as but I really like wearing them so I do wear them, but I just don't know if I should just leave them in the laundray to wash, but I think I need like 2 more 32a. But I'm afraid my mom will ask questions but I just want them!

You tell her that it will make more guys stare at your chest instead of focusing on your personality and character, it is therefore likely that the types of guys you attract will be more interested in a purely short term ( 10-15 min) relationship than a longer more meaningful relationship which might lead to an unplanned pregnancy or a court house wedding and a trip to California.

That is very "unsmart". Your mom will just think you are a word that i am NOT gonna say. I am 11 and i would NEVER say that. I agree with the 9 year old. (i tried to control my language here)
