Just ask "Could i please get a recommendation..."

And after that the teacher will be the one asking you the questions, like why do you want it and you just say one word. Example Bank

Right there you talk less and teacher says more.

OR

Think of something to that makes you feel superior than everyone else. I tried and it work

PS. Try not to think of anything else than what is making you superior....

I get it. Have you ever just paced outside of someone's door contemplating whether or not to go in? Yeah it's just a horrible feeling.

You should practice getting used to it for a day or two at first. Force, and I mean FORCE yourself to ask people for things. Trust me on this, to the others person, it will not sound weird at all. And once you push yourself to do it, it WILL begin to feel normal though it's torture at first. Finally, make yourself walk up to the teacher's room, and dive right in. Knock on the door, and the teacher will come to you..at that point, there's no backing out, and you will just ask. Done this too many times to count lol, but it works!

In social anxiety, practicing pushing yourself helps a lot with anything, whether that be eye contact, greetings, etc.

If your social anxiety is REALLY that bad ... You need psychiatric counseling, because you won't be able to deal with "the real world".  So you should get that counseling before asking for letters of recommendation.

Personally, *I* wouldn't give you a letter of recommendation if you are that "crippled" by a mental illness.  If you can't ask for a letter of recommendation - how are you going to ask for a job?!?

Actually its just with specific teachers. My first job interview was when i was 15 and i got the job and did very well and since then ive always had a job. Im great at having conversations with most adults however i am uncompfortable with certian teachers because of negetive expirences between teachers and i when i was younger. So, just because i feel like saying it I’ll do fine in the real world, (because in the real world i wont have to deal with inappropriate teachers - atleast nearly as often as i do now.)

^^ oh and psychiatric counseling... no ... drugs arent the answer to help someone whos shy unless maybe they want to try some weed or kratom, but therapy would be acceptable advice, so they can give you tips and meathods instead of prescriptions like a psychiatrist would be for.

You have a misconception about psychiatric counseling, if you think they rely on drugs.

And if you only have uncomfort with certain teachers, you do NOT have "social anxiety".
