Infatuation is quite normal but the legalities are questionable. Most likely, you are not "of age" to date an adult. That totally depends on which country you live in and the laws in that country.

You spend time with this person everyday so you develope a crush like one a schools girl would get for her teacher. It will pass and yes you are normal. ☺

I suggest just being friends at most, and pushing away any feelings you have till your in the same walk of life as he is( out of school, 18, maybe 17)
