Okay so, I'm twelve years old and ALL of my friends have their period, even my one friend who is younger than me ( only by a few months, but still ) I feel really left out, is there anything that could make mine come sooner?

First of all, you're 12 years old. You need to be 13 to use this site, for your own safety.

Secondly, you should talk to your mom and see how she was when she got her first period.

Third, each girl is different. Not every girl starts their period when they're 12. Be patient. You will have your period for over 30 years so don't rush this step. Make sure that you're informed about what to do when it starts and ask your mom / grandmother / aunt any questions that you might have.

Talk to your mother. Most girls get it around the same age as their mother. I got mine at 13. My mother got hers at 13. My grandmother got hers at 13. It is genetics plain and simple. And don't be rushing it. Honestly. Most girls get cramps. They ten to come at the most inopportune times. (Everyone is going swimming and or on a all day hike and you have to worry about finding a bathroom to change a pad.) Not to mention the leaks and stains. Enjoy your freedom while you can.

PS You need to be 13 to be on most sites.
