Sure are a lot of posts about people growing up lately :) I think we all have periods in our life when time seems to move faster than usual. I'm about to graduate college and it seems like I just started--what happened to the time? I'll just chalk it up to "I was having fun", one of the primary causes of time passing quickly :P
Why does time travel so fast? Grandson just turned 23, but I am sure it was only last year he was 3 and went fishing together for the first time.
My daughter just turned 40. She's having a rough time with it and at 40 years old, she makes me feel older than dirt.
When your a kid, time seems to drag by
Before you know it, you've got wings to fly.
Your life is in front of you, the world seems so great,
Graduations, marriage, and babies to celebrate
The moment you hold your child in your arms for the first time
You think its like when you were a kid and the clock will creep by
But the next thing you know in the blink of an eye
That little child is grown and saying good bye.
You wonder where on Earth did the time go
You were just bringing this child home!
I know, hmmm. I looked up after using the internet and my nephew went from newborn and turned 2.
Twenty years, huh?
Perhaps you have a Rip van Winkle gene somewhere.
This is something I've been thinking around recently, after college I thought "I have so much time I'm gonna have some fun at last" and it was proven to me in the worst way possible that time can not be taken for granted.it passes too quickly and doesn't wait for anyone.
we do things to make it go by.
