If you remain friends you are treading some water you may not be prepared for. First of all someone will inevitably get hurt because what happens when one starts to date again? Secondly there is a history between the two. Some good. Some bad. Can the future withstand what the past has beheld? Thirdly, what happens if you do get back together and things get "worse" between the 2 of you such as fighting or jealousy or you get pregnant before your ready? What i am trying to say is there is a lot you have to consider before saying it is a good thing or a bad thing.......

Personally speaking, they became an ex for a reason, so yes I ditched all my exes as they remain irrelevant in my life
