In the past few years, I've grown to believe in destiny. The thing is that my destiny isn't a good one. It doesn't have to be the same for you though.

My Destiny was set while I was still in the "Egg" sealed with the "Sperm" destine as I was born. I'm as lost as the day I was born :)

I believe in our power to determine our destiny. Destiny is how we shape the end of our story. The sum of our accumulated decisions, not a preordained trail of arbitrary events.

It's in the book so it must be true. Which book? The Rubaiyat, of course...

Tis all a chequerboard of nights and days
Where Destiny with men for pieces plays;
Hither and thither moves, and mates, and slays,
And one by one, back in the closet lays.

(But predestination is another concept---one which I will not comment on at the moment.)

I believe that Destiny is what we make it.  If you live your life one way, there's a pretty good chance that it will continue to go that way.  This means that you have the ability to change your Destiny.
