They called mood swings, caused by hormone imbalances, and honestly, opposite of what Rex said, a little mental instability from the hormones. It happens to all teens. Over time you'll get better at handling and controlling your emotions. I would know, I'm 14 too!
I don't know how old you are, but sometimes it could be a hormonal imbalance. Have you made an appointment to see your doctor. It could be something that needs to be managed with medicine. Also try to pin point what triggers your crying and mood swings. This can be helpful.
