Why do guys try so hard to impress a girl?
Because they like her
It's a story of wonder and fascination as old as time, Dear Megan Goodgirl...we love each other, and we crave each other...
...through all that is wrong in the world, we are still starry awestruck with each other, with the beauty of the beloved...every fiber of your being is singing...
"my love loves me, and all the wonders I see... and the words stay locked in my heartstrings, my love loves me."
And if we are lucky, our fascination with each other lasts all our lives.
It's perfectly natural and all species do it. The problem is that when young boys do it to attract young girls, it can be bizarre and even comical. As they get older they become more subtle. Most of the time.
And, in case you were wondering, girls do it to attract boys, too, though they tend to learn their subtlety a lot early. Again, most of the time.
Even lyre birds do it but their dance seems a bit too energetic for an old geezer like me.
Because some guys are dumb and immature.
For the same reasons girls try so hard to impress guys.
We have two type of impressions. 1.It comes by human nature and all the creatures, to like and be liked. To hear and be heard. To see and be seen. It's the normality. 2.The impression goes beyond the normality, those who change their everything to impress someone. Their life becomes impressing others!
The first one is normal and guys are not the only who doing it but also girls. It's not guys who leave their hairs through the air, give those teasing blinks . .just saying! Lol!
The second one is what i'm disagree with. Changing our true self to impress someone is wrong. Wear, speak and do the way we are not. It's an acting, even if the impression occurs it's empty, because the actions won't last forever. Because it doesn't come from the within as the true self would represent itself.
For the same reason girls try hard to impress a guy, To get noticed and be liked.
Because they are immature. Same with girls trying to impress a guy.
Mature adults don't try to impress anybody, because they understand that true strength and respect comes from within themselves. And if someone else isn't impressed by that, it just shows how shallow that other person is.
