I'm a sophomore in high school and I'm wondering how to tell my parents that I want to go on dates with a guy I like (he doesn't go to the same school as me but lives in the same town). Thanks in advance!

Have you talked to them previously about dating? If it were me, I would just let them know you'd like to have a talk with them, sit down and discuss it with them......it shows responsibility to be able to bring it up to them and have an appropriate conversation about it. I wouldn't expect to be allowed to be car dating until midnight though! Be sure to have realistic expectations!
