A little background first and then my answer.

Anatomy has always fascinated me.  Humans, horses, dogs in that order.  (Even dissected a fish on a fishing trip when I was in my twenties.)

I bought various books on the subject from the bookstore that was the primary supplier to one of the local medical schools. 

Some were like the "Gray's Anatomy" but much better (and considerably more expensive).  Some were pictorial---photos of cadaver body parts (sagittal, transverse, and other views) , and some of living subjects of both sexes and all ages.

(Anecdote: One fellow I worked with a long time ago had picked up a girl who wound up "staying with him." He has some polaroids of her that he was showing around.  I took one look at her rib cage development and told him that she was probably 14 to 16 years old. He didn't want to hear that, but I was right.  He was arrested a few days later and served prison time.)

So the comment I wanted to make is: why is it okay to look at a naked body as long as it doesn't have the skin covering it, but not ok to look at it when the skin is still on.

At any rate, absent the facilities of a medical school, "porn" is the only place you can realistically observe a real human body in action.

As an aside, my wife and my dogs (don't own horses anymore) all enjoy my rubdowns. Knowledge of the origin and insertion of muscles as well as dermatomes, and other things makes me pretty good at makijng them all feel good. 

I don't deal with it.
