When did you last hug a person that was the same sex as you?

Two weeks ago, my oldest son on his birthday.

My daughter, whenever I can get her to sit still long enough.

About a week ago my retired cop buddy friend

Yesterday, when I met some friends for dinner and a movie!

Working in the middle east, "manhugs" are almost the standard greeting. Having said that, I've not been there for 10 years. Can't remember hugging another bloke since then......

Well I guess I hugged my childhood  friend last week.

my housemate who is mentally the same as a 5 year old, he also gets me to hug his stuffed animal before bed too.

My Cat today.

I hugged my daughter as I do nearly every day.  I also hug my friends of both genders.

Im fairly sure it was My Father, when? That will take some thinking.

My pug! Although, he may not be a person. And just because he walks on all 4's does not prove anything ☺

Anyhow, what is the story behind this question? Ill state that it is perfectly normal so long as its appropriate-- to hug someone that is the same sex as you. The only exception would be if you are: A badass.

I hugged my best friend after saying goodbye to him for the weekend this morning.
