Absolutely. Because I wear glasses and am slightly chubby I've been labeled a nerd, geek, you name it.

I learnt to take those in my stride though and am now a self-labeled nerd :P

At 6 ft. 5 in, broad build, and seemingly emotionless facial expressions, I'm not the kind of person you would want to see walking toward you in a dark alley. People have assumed I'm just as scary a person on the inside or even dangerous, so they tend to avoid me. Hmm, it does make street beggers leave me alone, though. Upside!!

Yes. Thankfully. I learned many moons ago changing your appearance can and usually will change "people's" opinion and perception of you. In a position I once held I needed to change my appearance many times in order to garner information or just melt into the sceneary.

Sure I have.  This is unfortunate as if these people had bothered to actually get to know me they would have found tons of much better reasons to really loath me.

Yes, I have. People make assumptions based on appearances often. People have assumed I'm "soft" or effeminate by my appearance without really knowing anything about me.
