Reducing urban sprawl - preserving what little undeveloped land we have, and reclaiming the abandoned land in our cities as green space.  Trees cool our planet and house its diversity. We wouldn't be discussing coyotes incringement in our suburbs, if our suburbs hadn't incringed on the habitat of our indigenous wildlife.

Now about our oceans....

Mental illness. We need better resources and programs for those that suffer mental illness, their families and caregivers.

I'm with you 110% on this one, Dragonfly. Mental illness has gotten out of control; too many facilities have been shut down and there aren't any other places to go for treatment. Or if they had a way to get to those treatment centers, the cost is prohibitive.

It doesn't do any of us any good to constantly ignore this problem because it's going to get worse before it gets better.

Thank you for your thoughts on this.

I'm glad she's okay. Wish it didn't have to cost so much to do right by our pets. I'd give up things, pawn, beg for help for my pets. If I lost everything, I'd be homeless with my pets. They are everything.

Yes, it's heartbreaking to know that some shelters are not no-kill shelters. I think they should do more to find homes for these pets. Thanks.
