In that case ... That type of "love" requires you to put effort into it. You constantly have to work to maintain the relationship.

It is not the initial attraction you feel for someone, based on their appearance or personality.

It requires working through difficult times. "For better or worse", as the wedding vows state.

If you aren't willing to do that ... you have stopped loving.

Is it love—or is it infatuation? Infatuation feels like love. In fact, love includes romantic feelings. But the basis for each is entirely different. Infatuation stems from a superficial reaction to surface qualities. Also, it is blind to the other person’s weaknesses and exaggerates his or her strengths. As a result, infatuation is about as stable as a castle made of sand. It doesn’t last long. You can be attracted to someone one day, and then a month later you feel the same way—but toward someone else!  Real love should grow over time. At first, you’re good friends. Then, little by little, you like what you have come to know about the person, and you start to develop feelings that you’ve never had before. And real love is based on more than physical appearance.

I never developed feelings for someone else while in this relationship, and as far as physical appearance ... I mean he is handsome :) and really an attractive man but, when I first met him I was sold on his personality. We are great together but we argue sometimes... We can't stay mad at each other for more than an hour . We go on great lengths to see each other and always go on a journey everyday.

It is good that you are getting to know more than his external image. Give the relationship time to blossom. Genuine love grows stronger with time and becomes “a perfect bond of union.” All the best to the both of you! :)

If you have to ask then it's not love, when you really love someone it hits you like a ton of bricks and you will have no doubts.

Yes you can stop loving someone and as in the above sentence you'll know it.  However I feel that you're confusing attraction, infatuation with real love.  There's a world of difference.

No. Lol I know that I'm in love . I just ask random questions and that question is commonly asked so I asked just to see what others will say
