My boyfriend wants me to be more dominant (don't worry, I want to as well) but not sexually. We have been together for almost a year. How can I be more dominant without being sexual? I've looked all over the Internet but I've found nothing

Why is being dominant necessarily associated with sexuality in your mind?  I get someone being sexually dominant, but being a dominant person doesn't necessarily have anything to do with sexuality.

So he wants you take a more dominant role in the relationship? I have an aversion to...submissive men like that for a wholly biased reason but...

Perhaps he prefers that you make the decisions (where to go, where to eat, how much to spend). He may be interested in stereotypical gender role reversal as well and may want you to take a more authoritative tone when asking him to do things.

I would definitely inquire further about his request. I just hope that your boyfriend isn't like someone I know...someone who won't do anything unless told....
