Well I hate to tell you but people don't change at the want or insistence of another. They only change because THEY want to. When you meet someone and they are a certain way they will ALWAYS be that way. Unless they want to change.
I have met too many people who actually believed that the person they were married or dating would change. That their "love and guidance" would heal and change them. WRONG! When you are with someone who they are is what you are getting. If you don't like things about that person you need to move on and find another. Why waste your time on something you can't control?
