They can't handle the truth!
Why do some people say you can tell them the truth but then get mad when you do?
Some people having hard time to realize the real feeling of something close to themselves. They are good motto orators, they claim that they take the criticism, they accept the truth & they are ready to face it but the weight of the truth is heavier than their strength & core of their personality. So when they face it, their mind automatically orders them fast to deny it,fight it & make it forgotten.
Believe it or not, they actually don't want to hear it. I don't know why they ask you to be honest when they really don't want to hear honest feedback given. I know who I can tell the truth to and who doesn't want to hear it so I let that be my guide, rather than hear them blather on about being honest with them.
