It releases oxytocin and it has been noted that it shares similarities with a baby breastfeeding or bottle-feeding. Something about the oral nature of it.

In a more romantic sense I see it as two people sharing each others souls breath or each other's body. Often you loose site of your own tongue, a joining, a warmth, and a coming homeness with the right person. It makes me feel high and giddy so I suppose if you'd like you could call it magical. I certainly can forget a disagreement,  my aches and pains, even who I am in my separateness when he kisses me :)

If your feelings for the "kisser" are magical, it's the best feeling ever :)

In the sense of creating an outcome that otherwise wouldn't have happened?  Probably not.

In the sense that it feels "magical"?  Possibly.

But from the wrong person, or in the wrong circumstances, or just "bad form"?  It can be disgusting, too.
