If you are "crushing" on your pastor you should find another. Church
If you got a written letter from your church that you require discipline about a behavior pattern and might not be welcome back if you cannot correct it (like confessing to your pastor you are crushing on him) how would you respond?
My first response would be to find another Church. Your pastor is supposed to be in charge, be your advisor, your counsellor, your supporter, yet he knows nothing about human nature and how to handle a juvenille 'crush' .. Which would cause me to question his ability to do any of the above tasks.
Although perplexing, his method of choice in terms of handling it is definitely questionable.
Leave that dang church. I would say differently if you like went on a killing spree or something but hey, human attraction is a natural thing. If they think you require discipline then don't give them your time. Don't give them your money. Nothing.
