I've never tried a dating website...and nor do I want to....but in my opinion ...one can go to dating websites with some brains..I mean if they find someone they should also think if they're the right person or not!

As Aaron said : They scare the daylights out of me. I already had one experience with an online affair with a lady from a website only to find out later she was married and had a 17 year old son. Only saw one picture of her when she was in her 20's but never any others. When I broke it off, she became very verbally abusive and nasty. I had to block my phone, Skype, and e-mails from her. Terrible experience that I'll never do again. Lesson learned again,the hard way.
Dating sites are a high risk, someone can send you a request to Skype and send a virus to you computer. That's why it's best to make sure you have good virus protection..Also, never accept any links from someone who wants to Skype that is bad..You're better to add each other on Skype never go to any links guys send cause pictures can contain viruses. A virus can be the beginning of someone making attempts to hack your computer system. Also you can use these websites www.pipl.com or www.spokeo.com
They help you to trace emails, people's usernames, people's names, and you can learn whether someone is real or fake ( Catfish)..
I don't do that, no way.
I don't trust them.
