If it is within 72 hours since you had sex you should probably take emergency contraception (like Plan B) to prevent pregnancy. Getting a Depo shot late can cause you to ovulate, therefore making it possible for you to become pregnant.
You may want to contact your healthcare provider (the one who administered your Depo injection) and see how long you may be at increased risk of pregnancy as a result of getting your shot late.
