Many students do this because they think it makes them "cool", macho, grown up, or whatever else you want to call it. Which it may for now but little do they know its actually going to cause big time health problems later in life like cancers and even early death.  Many insurance companies are even now refusing to cover smokers, so why they try to be cool now, they really aren't and the ones theyre trying to impress are as unintelligent as they are.  So be yourself and don't get caught up in being like they are and destroy your body, This is one time when its better to be a Nerd than a cool student.  Merry Christmas
