Well to each couple their own, but for me....whose man is across the country right now, I would say no it's not ok. I'm the same type of person, want to cuddle, snuggle, but the only person I want to do that with is him. The way I get through that is he sent me a Jersey, I bought a bottle of cologne that he wears, I spray the Jersey with the cologne, and lay it on the pillow I snuggle with at night. I think to have a real "snuggle buddy" is not only disrespectful but will not replace anything, as it's not the person you truly want to be with.

I don't think your boyfriend would look too kindly upon that idea. Maybe you should just get a cuddly dog, like a Basset Hound. They love to cuddle!

No I'm pretty sure he would not like that, and neither would you if he did it.

I think it's entirely up to you and your boyfriend whether you have a "cuddle buddy" or not, but either way, it's something you should discuss with him, to tell him how you feel.

Who knows - he may feel the same way, and you could come to a conclusion that you are both happy with.

I think the key is to figure out how harmless this cuddle buddy would be. We all crave human contact once in a while, and if that's all it is then I don't see any harm in it, and,providing you are honest with him, your boyfriend may not either,

The problem comes if you want more than that, or if it ends up turning into more than that. Then you are entering the realms of being in an "open relationship", which your boyfriend might not be so happy about...

I am making assumptions though. The truth is only you know what will work, and what won't, and providing you are both on the same page, and know what the boundaries are, you'll be fine!

You should be asking your boyfriend that. I would NOT be okay with my girlfriend in another country having a cuddle buddy. And if you do have a cuddle buddy without knowing if your boyfriend's okay with it, that could be considered cheating.
