Since I reached puberty, I get very easily angry and after like a minute or two, I feel normal unless I start thinking about the thing that is pissing me off. Why does this occur?

It's really common to get angry very easily during puberty. You've got a lot of hormones racing around your body and they need a place to get out! As you get older, your bursts of anger will subside as your hormones settle down. Hopefully then you'll just get angry if something is really annoying!

Try to take a few deep breaths when you feel really angry - count to ten and think about something nice, and hopefully it'll stop your anger from getting too bad.

As Emily says, sudden anger is a puberty thing - so don't worry, it will get better.

With all the changes going on it's no wonder that things go a little crazy at times and, let's face it, you wouldn't be a teenager unless you were angry with the world in general - just joking :-)

If something, or someone, annoys you, just walk away - if possible, get some air and clear your thoughts. I would recommend trying to listen to a favourite song (a positive one though! no angry music), or talk to someone that you are close to - anything to take your mind off the issues that are causing the anger.

I honestly do believe that this is a normal thing at your age, but if you find that it does go on for longer than you think it should, or you are still worried, you can certainly see an anger management adviser who will try to help with your problem.

A lot of the advice will be what Emily and I have already offered though, so we may have already saved you lots of money! Lol

Good luck, and don't worry, you are normal and wonderful!

Yes great idea! I used to do that, in fact when I was younger I used to bite it too, it gets rid of so much anger. Luckily I have never had the urge to bite a person though :-)
