I don't believe anyone goes to hell for being gay or lesbian. I believe god to be a forgiving and loving god. Not a punishing god. People who are condemned to hell are the people who deny god. And set out to destroy humanity. God is unconditionally and undeniably the purest of heart. And he created man in his own image. Woman & man a like. that you believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and rose
again because not knowing that is the only thing that could keep you

God punishes actions.  I firmly believe that God will not punish you for your attraction to a member of the same sex. However, it's what you do with that attraction that matters. The Bible does preach against homosexuality, but it talks about the actions, not the attraction. My firm belief is that homosexuals can be Christian and go to Heaven, but it is harder as it requires a life of celibacy (unless you opt for a marriage of convenience to someone of the opposite sex).
